After the success of our Mapping Mashup hack day in London (check out the awesome ideas from the teams here) the eBay hack tour of Europe continues, next stop: Berlin! 

We are hosting a 12 hour hack day for talented developers to meet and demonstrate their creativity and skills.

Theme: Gamifying eBay. Auctions are exciting, nail biting events and the perfect breeding ground for games. eBay’s millions of users vary from people looking for specialist products to those looking for bargains, what sort of playground would you create for the variety of super-busy and super-connected people buying and selling on eBay today?

• When:  Sat 20th April
• Participants: 40 places.
• Food and refreshments will be provided
• You will need to bring your own kit.
• Wifi will be provided and eBay engineers will be on hand to give technical guidance on using eBay APIs. Tech FAQs available here
• The creators of the apps will own the apps and code they generate
• Cool prizes for winners and runners up
